OUR Father’s Day game, on Sunday, was keenly contested.
Winners for the afternoon were Deb Retchless, Keith Aykens, Darryl Jones defeated Kennedy Whitton, Lorraine Knight, Robyn Stitt.
Runners-up were Allan Gillies, Brian Bellingham, Penny Warren, who defeated Iren Laird, Laurie Land and Allan Rolfe.
The jackpot didn’t go off.
Our last self-selected triples for the year were played last Monday.
Winners came out on Rink Five and, as luck happens, the jackpot went off in the same game.
Winners were Denis Madeley, Joe Paynting and Leon Fox, who defeated Allan Gillies, John Riemann Jill Gillies.
Runners-up were Greg Colquhoun, Kennedy Whitton, who defeated M McKenzie, Dom Diaz.
Tuesday social bowls winners were Karen McKenzie, M Wright, Joe Paynting defeated Joan Atkinson, Ron Boskma, Dot Slater. Nice to see Dot back playing.

Barefoot bowlers Suzi, David, Tim and Jamie won the mango, on Friday night, when they defeated Kerri, Sandy, Garry and Denis.
