Noah Robertson – A rising star

Must read

SUPERSTAR singer and guitarist Noah Robertson was on a roll, in 2022.

The young musician played at the Airlie Beach Festival of Music, Proserpine and Airlie Beach Markets, and took home the championship title at the National Busking Championships, in New South Wales.

In November, 30 talented musicians competed for the title of Australian National Busking Champion and a spot at the Gympie Music Muster next year.

Noah took home the primary-age award.

Noah began learning to play the guitar in 2018, while living in the Bahamas, where his family resided for some time following their sailing adventure from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean.

He performs and busks regularly, with an impressive playlist that includes over 70 hit songs, with seven of them being his original work.

Noah’s inspirations include Keith Urban, The Beatles, Paul Kelly, James Taylor, Dire Straits, Zac Brown Band, Kenny Chesney and Jimmy Buffett. He plays a killer cover of How to Make Gravy by Paul Kelly.

Noah has a truly authentic country, coastal vibe in his original songs, that are inspired by his life on the sea and growing up on a sailboat.

He is extremely passionate about playing the guitar and is dreaming big.

Many Whitsunday residents have seen Noah out and about, entertaining the crowds at markets and venues across the region.

Look out for Noah around town at local markets and community events!
