AN INVOLVED and passionate crowd were at the Smart Arts 10th anniversary art exhibition opening, on Friday night.
The exhibition of 100 talented, emerging and experienced artists, and their unique works, were of a very high standard and everyone was vying for cash prizes, in six sections.
Proprietor Suzi Handcock said the exhibition was a thank you to everyone who had supported Smart Arts for the past 10 years.
“There have been loads of laughs and our arty family has enjoyed each other and become friends. I am looking to make this a yearly event,” she said.
Local multi award-winning Bowen Artist Mel Stone judged the exhibition and praised the standard of exhibited work.

Section 5 Fantasy – Domie Bramwell ‘Apothecary’
Section 6 Teens Section – Demi Vardenaga ‘Jack Sparrow’
The exhibition will be open until the end of July, at Smart Arts, 8a Commerce Close, Cannonvale.
