| THE WHITSUNDAYS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI) will host a special event to deliver an update on the upcoming State Election (due to be held on October 26). The free Chamber event is open to everyone and will be held on Friday, October 11, at Whitsunday Green Club, Cannon Valley, from 7.30am to 9am. The event will commence with a discussion on the Chamber’s Queensland State Election statement and regional business priorities. Coinciding with Queensland Mental Health Week, the event will also showcase the programs and resources available to business owners to support mental health and wellbeing. It will explore tips to identify and better manage stress, burnout, depression, diet and physical health in the workplace. Guest speakers include: Kirsty Wilson, Business Wellness Coaching North Queensland Gus Walsgott, Small Business Financial Counselling Service North Queensland The event is open to all Chamber members and their guests, and the broader Whitsundays business community.
