TWO STUDENTS from Proserpine State High school have been filming for the ‘Ultimate Classroom’ program, in Brisbane.
Year 12 students Mac Rogers and Liam Stuchbree were selected as contestants
for the ‘Ultimate Classroom’ and the first round of filming was done on June
29.
The ‘Ultimate Classroom’ is a program run by Channel 10, in collaboration
with the Australian Defense Force.
Young people compete in challenges that test their STEM skills, such as
flying drones, building watercraft, and much more, as they try to conquer the
competition.
In May, Mac and Liam, along with fellow students Sam Rogers and Riley
Stuchbree, participated in the second round of auditions for the ‘Ultimate
Classroom’ and two of them, Mac and Liam, were selected as contestants.
They are competing in teams of three along with another competitor named
Ella, from the Gold Coast
The two highschoolers were very excited to participate in what was a
life-changing experience.
“It has been an awesome experience getting to see proper film sets and the
whole process has been very cool,” Mac Rogers said.
Mac and Liam are waiting for the outcomes from the last filming and are
excited to share their experience.
The program is planned to be on air in September 2022.
