THE HAMILTON Island Endurance Series is back for another year of fierce competition this November 19 and 20.
The two-day event encompasses a 750-metre swim in Catseye Bay, a 20km cycle around the southern part of Hamilton Island encompassing the airport runway, and a 5km run around the marina and resort sides of the Island.
The Hamilton Island Endurance series spans four endurance events and attract entrants from all over Australia.
The four events are the Hamilton Hilly Half Marathon, Great Whitehaven Beach Run, Hamilton Island Triathlon and the Hamilton Island Ocean Swim.
Participants can do as many of the tests as they choose.
Chief Executive Officer of Hamilton Island Pete Brulisauer said those competing could expect to test their endurance in one of Australia’s most pristine locations.
Set in one of Australia’s most beautiful locations, the Hamilton Island Triathlon provides the ultimate test of endurance, in the ultimate location.
“Despite the awe-inspiring scenery, the exceptional triathlon and swim course has developed a reputation for seriously challenging competitors, attracting participants from all around Australia,” Mr Brulisauer said. Registrations for the Endurance Series close on Wednesday, November 16.
