Connecting women with health services

Must read

THE Cannonvale Women’s Health and Information Day was a huge success with a good crowd turning out at TAFE Queensland’s Cannonvale campus.

Held in Palmers Training Restaurant, the free event, on Thursday, October 26, 2023, was presented by Greater Whitsunday Communities, and was all about increasing awareness and providing health information to women.

There were information stalls, guest speakers, giveaways and interactive activities.

This free event aimed to connect women with each other and with health and wellbeing services that are available to them in the Cannonvale, Airlie and Proserpine communities,” a spokeswoman said.

What an incredible and vital event we had! Connecting with women for Women’s Health Day, at our newly refurbished Student Collaboration Hub and Palmers Training Restaurant.

“A very important initiative. Thanks to everyone who came to the Cannonvale Women’s Health Day.

“It was such a lovely morning, with lots of information and connection for everyone there.”
