GET ready to party in paradise with the Airlie Beach Festival of Music (ABFoM) this November!
“We’re excited to unveil the final lineup including legendary acts Rose Tattoo, Southern Sons, Reece Mastin, Sandi Thom, and more,” a spokesman said.
“These artists will join an already stacked lineup featuring Sweet (UK), Pseudo Echo, Jebediah, Thirsty Merc, Christine Anu, Ash Grunwald, 19 Twenty, and Bondi Cigars.”
Proudly presented by the Whitsunday Sailing Club, ABFoM is gearing up for its 12th annual celebration, set to light up the town from November 8 to 10, 2024.
The three-day extravaganza, drawing attendees from all corners of the country, promises to be an unforgettable experience featuring a diverse lineup of artists from around the globe.
Despite the challenges facing the music scene, ABFoM stands resilient, growing stronger with each passing year. This year, it’s shaping up to be the biggest festival yet.
Rose Tattoo, a powerhouse in the world of bar room blues-based rock, has been delivering electrifying performances since their inception in 1976. Led by the iconic Angry Anderson, the band’s raw vocals and gritty sound have captivated audiences across the globe.

Returning to their roots, Southern Sons will treat fans to a nostalgic journey through their chart-topping hits from the 1990s. Original members Jack Jones, Geoff Cain, and Peter ‘Reggie’ Bowman will deliver an unforgettable performance, showcasing classics like ‘Hold Me in Your Arms’ and ‘Heart in Danger’.
Reece Mastin, who rose to fame from X-Factor as a teenage pop idol and has since reinvented himself as a rock ‘n’ roll sensation, will also grace the stage.
With platinum albums and chart-topping singles under his belt, and counting Aussie legends like Jimmy Barnes, Diesel, and The Living End’s Chris Cheney amongst his supporters, Reece continues to prove himself as a force to be reckoned with in the Australian music scene.
Sandi Thom, whose 2006 single ‘I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker (With Flowers in My Hair)’ took the world by storm and has since had 70 million plays on Spotify. Sandi will make a triumphant return to Airlie Beach with new material, promising an unforgettable performance.
Tickets are priced at $320 and include access to three days of headline acts in the main tent, as well as entry to over a dozen venues across town featuring more than 50 acts, from Thursday night through to the festival after-party, on Monday November 11.
