In 2024, Tourism Whitsundays, in partnership with the Whitsundays Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will continue the Whitsundays Business Awards categories to extend the celebration of the region’s amazing tourism industry into the greater business community of the Whitsundays. Tourism Whitsundays and Whitsundays Chamber of Commerce and Industry are seeking nominations for the following categories: Award For Excellence in Customer Service by an Individual or Business: This category recognises outstanding customer service by a business or individual in the Whitsunday Region. Award For Most Outstanding Whitsundays Retailer: Shops, market stalls, pop up shops, and online retailers are eligible for this category. Award For Most Outstanding Whitsundays Booking Service: Tourist Information Centres, accommodation tour desks, booking agents, online agents and travel agents are eligible for nomination in this category. Award For Most Outstanding Whitsundays Hospitality Venue: Restaurants, Bars, Bistros, Clubs, and Cafes can be nominated in this category. Award For Most Outstanding Whitsundays Services Provider: Trades and professional services can be nominated in this category. Bowen, Collinsville & Proserpine Business of the Year: All businesses operating in Bowen, Collinsville and Proserpine can nominate for this category. Please note this is a separate award for each location. Whitsundays Business of the Year: All businesses operating in The Whitsundays can nominate for this category. You can nominate another business or your own business. You can make multiple nominations in more than one category. Nominees must be a member of the Chamber, Bowen Tourism and Business, or Tourism Whitsundays. Entries must be made via the online form by Wednesday, August 14, 2024.
