ON WEDNESDAY, the Cannons hosted Club Night and, over the weekend, hosted a swim clinic with top swim coach Shaun Crow.
One Cannon, Eloise Chegwidden competed at the Townsville Tourist Swim Meet over the weekend and achieved outstanding results, winning gold medals in all her nine events.
Eloise also swam big PBs in four of her events.
On Wednesday night, the Cannons acknowledged Jax Clayworth for setting two club records.
Jax set new records for 50m and 200m Butterfly.
Giselle Burton presented Upgrade Certificates to Isaac Pisaniello, Jax Clayworth, Kye Mitchell, Eric Mulliss, Leo Mulliss and Tyler Bennett.
Chocolate Awards were presented to Blaire Harland and Harris Delac for the best PBs.
Congratulations to Ruby Lawson for winning the Swim of The Night award for her 25m Butterfly.

The Cannonvale Cannons were very fortunate to have Shaun Crow facilitate a swim clinic over the weekend.
Swimmers participated in sessions to improve their skills and speed.
There was a parent information session and one of Shaun’s swimmers, Harrison Turner, talked to swimmers about his journey.
Harrison, 20, is a top Australian 200m Butterfly swimmer who trains with Shaun at Nudgee College.
Harrison Turner also assisted Shaun with coaching and loved working with all the swimmers.
At the end of the last session, Shaun presented Most Improved Awards to Zach Trefz, Celeste Orenshaw, Andie Reynolds and Zane Clayworth.
A big well done to all the swimmers who participated over the weekend!
Swimmers won’t forget Shaun’s favourite expressions such as ‘Ducks in a Line’, ‘Oi’ and ‘Goldilocks’.
