CAROLS by the Beach took place on the Airlie Beach Foreshore, on Sunday December 3, 2023.
Presented by Whitsunday Regional Council, the festive fun started at 4.30pm with a performance from the Proserpine Citizens’ Band.
This was followed at 5pm with the Cannonvale State School Choir, and then it was the singing of Christmas carols, at 5.30pm.
And of course, the big man in red made a special appearance too!
Families brought picnic blankets and chairs to enjoy the stellar lineup.
The alcohol-free event also included food stalls and free face painting.
It was followed by the movie ‘Home Alone’ on the foreshore big screen, at 6.30pm.
It was certainly an evening not to be missed!
