DON’T miss out on the region’s premier business event, featuring an interactive program of local knowledge and regional expertise.
Early Bird registrations for the Chamber’s 2025 Whitsunday Business Conference close on 30 June.
The 2025 Whitsunday Business Conference will be held Thursday, 28 August, 2025, at the TAFE Queensland Whitsunday Campus, Cannonvale.
The special annual event will bring the region’s business community and stakeholders together for a day to connect and share experiences (the good, the bad and the everything in-between!) and to celebrate the region’s business community.
The conference will feature an interactive program of local knowledge and regional expertise from a range of industries.
Keynote Presenter:
Still driving the bus and honking your own horn? Maybe it’s time to sit in the passenger seat and let someone else share the wheel.
The chamber is delighted to announce that Judy Porter of Shiift will open the conference with an interactive and provocative presentation on Getting Out of Your Own Way.
Growing a passion into a business is a wild, rewarding ride.
But what happens when you’re still in the driver’s seat, tooting your own horn, and holding the map with white knuckles?
At some point, you have to trust the team, step into the leadership space, and create a culture where your people can drive the vision forward with you – not just ride along.
In this presentation, Judy unpacks how personality traits, belief systems, and leadership style shape the way we trust (or micromanage).
Let’s explore what it really takes to build a resilient business, team and culture.
Program Highlights:
This year’s conference program has been locally designed and presented, bringing together regional experts, business leaders and practitioners, who understand the unique challenges and opportunities faced by Whitsunday businesses.
Key program highlights:
- Official opening by Whitsunday Regional Council Mayor Ry Collins.
