Come back to Coral Sea!

Must read

THERE are not many places you can go on the mainland where the food consistently receives rave reviews.

Coral Sea Pavilion is one such place and it is working hard to maintain the excellent reputation built up over many years, following a rebrand earlier this year.

Coral Sea Pavilion is Coral Sea Resort’s new fine dining restaurant, with attentive staff, a relaxing ambience and great food.

The dining experience is enhanced further by the stunning Corla Sea views right in front of the restaurant – as if you could touch the water!

And now, a new chef and a new restaurant team are causing waves in the local dining scene.

Part of the rebrand has been to focus even more on fresh local seafood, and the seafood platter for two on the dinner menu is proving a hit.

With fresh king prawns, oysters Kilpatrick, tender calamari, grilled Balmain bugs, tasty reef fish and delicious French style mussels and clams, it is the ultimate seafood feast.

There are also plenty of meat and vegetarian options.

Coral Sea Resort manager Dawn Romanella said Coral Sea Pavilion captured the essence of the resort and everything it has stood for, over many decades.

“Coral Sea Resort has stood on this spot since the 1980s and has seen many transformations and refurbishments over the years,” she said.

“We are excited to introduce the community to Coral Sea Pavilion, our latest, most up-to-date in-house restaurant, bringing the same superb quality and presentation of food, with a focus on seafood and fresh local produce.

“Our chef has revamped our menus, which can be seen in full on our website. And our bar is fully stocked with a wide range of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails.

“We want the local community to come and rediscover fine dining at Coral Sea Pavilion and remind themselves just how amazing the view is!”

Coral Sea Pavilion is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and there are also poolside and bar menus available.

Reviews

A delicious dinner with wonderful staff overlooking a picture perfect view. No fault with the quality of the food – the entree, mains and desserts were delicious! A very enjoyable evening and would happily recommend. – Tripadvisor User.

Amazing ocean view, tasty cocktails and the seafood platter for 2 on the dinner menu was absolutely mouthwatering. Best meal we have had in the Whitsundays! Felt like paradise sipping cocktails watching the sunset, then feasting on local seafood. So glad we made the decision to dine here and can’t wait to return for another visit! – _miss_renae_8 – tripadvisor
