WHO doesn’t love a bit of country music!
Head to the Proserpine Entertainment Centre, on April 3, for The Great Women of Country.
The show is part of the hugely popular Morning Melodies series of shows that take place at 11am.
At The Great Women of Country, audiences will be treated to songs from some of country music’s greatest female singers.
Melinda Schneider, six-time Golden Guitar Award winner, is celebrated for her authentic storytelling and spine-tingling voice.
With a career spanning more than four decades, Melinda has cemented her place as one of Australia’s most beloved country music artists.
Audiences can expect beautiful renditions of songs from Melinda, by some of country music’s greatest female singers of all time.
These include Tammy Wynette’s ‘Stand By Your Man’ and ‘D.I.V.O.R.C.E.’, Linda Ronstadt’s ‘Blue Bayou’, Emmylou Harris and Gram Parson’s ‘Love Hurts’, Dolly Parton’s ‘I Will Always Love You’ and ‘9 to 5’ plus many more!
Melinda will also perform a selection of her own chart-topping, Golden Guitar Award-winning hits.
Morning Melodies is a much loved program of performances that has been running in Proserpine for decades.
Taking place during the mornings, the performances include a medley of great singers and acts, all chosen for their ‘star quality’.
The Morning Melodies program for 2025 is packed with great talent and takes place at the Proserpine Entertainment Centre (PEC).
