PROSERPINE Youth Space turns 25 this month and is getting ready to party in style!
For a quarter of a century, Youth Space has been providing support, guidance and a safe space for young people aged 10 to 21 years old.
The centre also provides a variety of activities and programs, which support mental health, build resilience and improve social connections.
The 25th anniversary celebrations have a Superhero theme.
The party will take place this Friday, December 6, 2024, from 3pm to 6pm, at the youth centre, 65 Marathon Street, Proserpine. Everyone welcome!
Whitsundays MP Amanda Camm and Whitsunday Regional Mayor Ry Collins will both attend the celebratory event, with the Mayor due to give a short speech on the background and services the centre offers.
There will be lots of free fun for families with face painting, Boogie Bounce and a giant slide, as well as raffles, a sausage sizzle and a birthday cake!
Everyone is welcome to attend and encouraged to dress up as their favourite superhero.
