Rockin’ the Reef: Don’t miss ‘Beats on the Beach’ at the reef festival

Must read

THE 2024 GREAT Barrier Reef Festival is fast approaching, so make sure you have August 1 to 4 marked in your diary!

The Airlie Events ‘Beats on the Beach’ is the place to be, on Saturday, August 3, 2024.

Starting at 6pm, partygoers can enjoy live music, a pop-up bar, and the Whitsunday Food Service ‘Eat Street’, on the Airlie Beach Foreshore.

Headlining the evening is the ever-popular Matty Rogers and his full band, bringing a dynamic musical experience of Americana blues-rock, drenched in soul, to the main stage.

Also performing are SE Queensland’s pop rockers Perry Street Park, the Airlie Beach Festival of Music’s 2022 Passport to Airlie winners, fresh from playing Bluesfest 2024.

Perry Street Park will be supported by local newbies The Diesel Gypsies and blues rocker Zed Charles, who is a popular performer around local venues.

“Don’t miss out on this amazing night of music, food and fun on the Airlie Beach Foreshore,” GBRF president Margie Murphy said.

“Don’t miss this unforgettable music experience!”

“This is a free event but there is a small cover charge for the bar.”
