OLD Mervs, the dynamic rock duo from Western Australia, are riding a wave of success that’s hard to ignore.
Their self-titled debut album made a splash by debuting at number four on the ARIA Albums Chart, even clinching the top spot on both the Australian Artist Albums and Vinyl Albums charts.
Comprising lifelong friends David House and Henry Carrington-Jones, the pair recorded the album in Byron Bay, with producer Chris Collins.
Now, they’re set to embark on a massive 20-date tour across Australia and New Zealand, kicking off in Auckland, on May 1, and wrapping up in Perth, on July 5.
The loveable larrikins are heading to Magnums, Airlie Beach, on Friday, June 6, 2025.
Best friends since they were five years old, Dave and Henry grew up on neighbouring farms in Kojonup – a farming town about three hours southeast of Perth.
From jamming in a shed on the farm after school, to their debut EP in 2023, to their debut album released in March this year, the pair have had phenomenal growth.
With their catchy hooks and genuine charm, Old Mervs are proving that good mates, good waves, and good tunes are the perfect recipe for chart-topping success.
Old Mervs’ fanbase has exploded, with massive growth across their mailing list, Instagram, and TikTok.
From a steady climb to a full-blown surge, their reach has expanded at an incredible pace, proving their music is connecting more than ever.
Old Mervs’ streaming growth has also been phenomenal.
Live shows, Triple J’s Hottest 100, and viral content have all driven massive spikes in streams, proving that discovery and fan engagement are at an all-time high.
In just 18 months, since the end of 2023, streams on Apple and Spotify have surged by 200 to 300 per cent, while subscribers and followers have doubled- a testament to their unstoppable momentum.
The duo has recently announced a US tour.
