A VISION for the Whitsundays region could be in the making.
The Whitsunday Coast Chamber of Commerce is holding a ‘Vision for the Whitsundays’ special event, at Mantra Club Croc, Cannonvale, on Tuesday, May 16.
In this special chamber event, which will run from 6pm until 8pm, guests will hear federal, state, and regional perspectives on the future for the Whitsundays.
Guest speakers will explore the current drivers of change, and how they might influence the region in the next 25-40 years, as well as ideas that could be explored today, to future-proof the next few decades.
Confirmed speakers include Amanda Camm MP (Queensland Member for Whitsundays) and Andrew Willcox MP (Federal Member for Dawson).
The chamber will also discuss its intention to develop a vision for the Whitsundays and how chamber members and the community can play a vital role, by joining the conversation.
The event is open to all chamber members and their guests, and the broader Whitsundays community, with beverages and canapes to be served.
Chamber members receive two free registrations to the event.
Non-members and additional guests’ registrations are $25 each (plus small booking fee).
