KCS BAR and Grill, Airlie Beach, is hosting The Voice contestant Tanya George, on Thursday, May 11, at 8pm, for an epic night of live music and good food.
Tanya George found her sound in St Kilda, Melbourne, a place well-known for being Victoria’s live music hub, birthing some of Melbourne’s favourite musicians.
Her unique sound of soul, jazz and electro tones means she is unlimited in what her music can do, often performing solo a cappella with a vocal looping or surrounded by her dedicated band.
She has blown away audience after audience with her 4.5-octave vocal range.
A frequent hit on the Australian festival circuit, Tanya Geroge has performed on an insane number of stages.
These include St Kilda Festival, Melbourne International Jazz Festival, Womadelaide, and Queenscliff Music Festival, where she won the 2018 QMF busking competition.
As well as selling out multiple headline shows and headlining festivals such as Sunshine Lunar New year with over 25,000 people, Ms George also played at the Grand Prix, in 2022.
She will also be adding Airlie Beach Festival of Music to her ever-growing list of festivals, in 2023.
Keep your eyes on her socials, as she is gearing up to release an album.
KCs Bar and Grill is open from 4pm to late, Tuesday to Friday, and 11.30am to late Saturday to Monday, serving up their famous chargrilled steaks and Australian game tasting platters, which include kangaroo, crocodile, emu, and wild boar.
Having recently released a new food challenge called the ‘Not so Smally’ platter, where you can win a place on the KCs Wall of Fame, if completed in 10 minutes or less, there really is no better place to be if you want a night of top tier food, music, and entertainment.
