Whitsunday marine operator continues to grow

Must read

SEALINK Whitsundays continues to grow since it acquired Red Cat Adventures and Whitsundays Jetski Tours, in February this year.

From June 1, 2024, SeaLink Whitsundays’ newest vessel, the Osprey, has begun offering bespoke tours to guests staying on Hayman Island, in conjunction with its partner brands.

SeaLink Whitsundays has operated the Hayman Island Ferry services for the past four years.

It transports guests and visitors to the 294-hectare island via three luxurious vessels: Sun Harmony, Sun Serenity, and Sun Symphony.

Now, island guests can book a variety of exciting experiences including snorkelling adventures, jet ski tours and relaxing cruises to Whitehaven Beach. Guests can also explore the Outer Great Barrier Reef.

SeaLink Marine & Tourism CEO Donna Gauci said it was an ‘exciting time’ for guests on Hayman Island and for SeaLink Whitsundays.

“By integrating the award-winning experiences from Red Cat Adventures and Whitsundays Jetski Tours, which we acquired in February, we now offer a synergistic range of tours, experiences, cruises, and high-end charters, ensuring guests enjoy unparalleled access to this beautiful region,” she said.

Hayman Island general manager Arpad Romandy said he was ‘delighted’ to collaborate with the national award-winning team from SeaLink Whitsundays, Red Cat Adventures, and Whitsundays Jetski Tours.

“This partnership enhances the exceptional service and unforgettable adventures we already provide at Hayman Island,” he said.

Custom-built for SeaLink Marine & Tourism, the Osprey boasts a versatile design that is ideal for exploring the Whitsunday Islands, with the flexibility of open-air cruising or a partially/fully enclosed experience for added comfort.

With the capacity for up to 26 guests, the Osprey is perfect for day tours and private charters, including family reunions, wedding parties and corporate events.

SeaLink Whitsundays, Red Cat Adventures and Whitsundays Jetski Tours all hold Ecotourism Australia’s Advanced ECO Certification, highlighting a dedication to sustainable practices and authentic nature-based tourism experiences.

The eco certification reflects an ongoing commitment to responsible tourism and the preservation of the pristine beauty of the Whitsundays for generations to come.
