WHITSUNDAY Dirt Riders held a weekend of racing with a Double Header weekend, on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday afternoon started at 3pm and saw some action packed, fast-paced dirt track fun with junior and senior classes, from 50cc to 450cc.
On Sunday, racing started at 9am and the bikes took to the jumps with some airtime on the motocross track.
A club spokesman congratulated all the riders who came away with a podium finish.
“A big shoutout to Tam, from WildTwo Designs, for designing our trophies for the weekend,” the spokesman said.
“Whitsunday Dirt Riders Club would like to thank everyone who helped make our first club day Double Header possible and a huge success, including all the officials.
“And the food and service were absolutely incredible.”
The club also thanked MQ, for all the assistance they provide, and all the local businesses who had helped out.
