CREEDENCE: The John Fogerty Show is headed to Bowen at the end of the month for the Fortunate Son 2023 tour, performing at The Queens Beach Hotel, on January 28.
Presented by Jabba Entertainment, Creedence: The John Fogerty Show pays tribute to hit classic rock musician John Fogerty, founder and lead singer of the late 60s early 70s number one rock n roll band, Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR).
The tribute show is Australia’s most popular and accurate John Fogerty tribute show and has successfully sold out concerts across the country.
CCR’s hit single, Fortunate Son, was released in 1969 on their ‘Willy and the Poor Boys’ album and became one of CCR’s most legendary songs, a classic example of the word-class late 60s rock n roll.
Following successful tours throughout Victoria and South-East Queensland, in 2022, The Creedence Boys are keeping this classic and iconic music alive in the New Year, and they can’t wait to gear up and hit the road with their high-energy show for North Queensland fans.
The group has hit North Queensland previously and Justin Wilkins, CEO of the Brothers League Club in Townsville, described the tribute show as ‘as close as you will get to the real thing’.
World-class lead singer Andre Lemberg is described as the embodiment of John Fogerty.
“Andre Lemberg took the show to another level as John Fogarty,” Mr Wilkins said.
“Young and old packed the dance floor all night with others bopping away in their seats or having a jig wherever there was some space.
“This is as close as you will get to the real thing.”
Andre Lemberg is accompanied onstage by a band of musicians, who regularly play with Angry Anderson, The Offspring, Jimmy Barnes, The Angels and more.
Experience classic rock n roll at its best and sing along to the greatest hits of both CCR and Fogerty’s solo careers, such as Bad Moon Rising, Fortunate Son, Green River, Proud Mary, Suzie Q, Run Through The Jungle, Born on the Bayou, Centerfield and many more.
