LOOKING for a family-friendly activity this week?
Come along and see Proserpine State High School’s production of ‘Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat’.
The Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice hit is being brought to life by an entirely student-led cast and crew, consisting of more than 90 students from Years 7 to 12.
Held in the school’s Performing Arts Centre, the production will include four shows from April 18 to April 20, with Fish D’Vine providing the catering of food and drinks at all performances.
The school’s Seagrass Theatre and Music Company students have been dedicated to their music, singing, dancing and acting rehearsals, as well as honing their backstage technical skills to bring this incredible rock opera to life.
This year’s production also includes a 26-piece orchestra, which is sure to ignite audiences with their performances of the classic songs such as ‘Any Dream Will Do’ and ‘Song of the King’.
