MUSHROOM Valley celebrates its 10-year anniversary in Airlie Beach this September, with an eventful, three-day music, art and lifestyle festival, with 35 acts.
Mushroom Valley is a unique psychedelic wonderland, which encourages people from all walks of life to connect with a range of people from different communities and demographics.
“We were lucky enough – even with all the uncertainty in the world the last two years – to be able to run two successful festivals in the midst of COVID,” Mushroom Valley director Ben Irving said.
“Our fortune provided us the opportunity to purchase the Mushroom Valley Festival site, in December 2021.
“Our dream has always been to purchase a place where we can continue to run the festivals and build a wonderland for our community to enjoy. Throughout the year, the site is used as an eco-campground.”
The property is located at the base of Cathu State Forest and runs along the beautiful O’Connell River.
The festival will start on Friday, September 16, at 5pm, wrapping up at midnight, on Sunday, September 18.
Festival goers should expect a variety of music, including drum and bass, progressive trance, tech house, breaks, dubstep, psytrance, bass music and more.
The event is set to be a truly magical experience, where attendees have the opportunity to get away from the day-to-day pressures of their lives and connect with like-minded people.
The festival hosts an artspace, where artists from around Australia display their talents, as well as a variety of amazing food options and unique market stalls.
Festival goers can expect a great line-up including Progressive Psytrance duo MAJOR7, drum and bass producer Jam Thieves, Grouch, X-NOIZE and many more.
