Operator celebrates 100 per cent 5-star reviews

Must read

AFTER more than 12 months in operation, SeaLink Whitsundays has achieved a 100 per cent five-star scorecard for customer reviews on TripAdvisor and Google Business Listings, anchoring its position as a valued marine transport and tourism operator, in the region.

SeaLink set up operations in the Whitsundays providing guest transfers to Hayman Island’s Intercontinental Hotel, before adding a unique premium cruise experience for visitors to the iconic tourism region, in November 2021.

SeaLink’s Big Island Day Tour provides guests with a brilliant cruise through many of the amazing islands that make up the Whitsundays, SeaLink Whitsundays general ganager Mr Rob Mitchell said.

“What makes our cruise different is our passenger numbers are capped for maximum comfort, with space to roam around each of the three levels to get the best vantage point,” he said.

“Our vessel is also air-conditioned for extra comfort and guests enjoy a premium lunch, morning and afternoon tea, on board, as part of the package.”

SeaLink’s Big Island Day Tour stops off at the world-renowned spots for that famous photo at Hill Inlet overlooking the beautiful turquoise water, as well as stopping for a well-earned dip at the world-famous Whitehaven Beach, with its white silica sand.

Due to the popularity of the full-day tour, SeaLink has also recently added a half-day tour experience, Purely Whitehaven, with the choice of a morning or afternoon departure, where guests get to spend more time enjoying Whitehaven Beach.

According to Mr Mitchell, achieving the perfect customer experience scorecard from passengers is a testament to the premium service provided by the entire SeaLink Whitsundays’ team.

“It is always great to read such positive feedback from our guests – whether they are locals, interstate or from overseas – and I am extremely proud of the team, who consistently go above and beyond to make sure everyone has the best experience,” he said.

Tourism Whitsundays CEO Rick Hamilton said that having such highly rated operators ensured the Whitsundays remained a must-see destination.

“The Whitsundays is a world-class destination offering an experience to suit every traveller, from relaxing getaways to action-packed adventures. Online reviews and word-of-mouth recommendations are a big part of travel research, so it’s important to have Whitsundays’ operators highly rated on platforms such as Tripadvisor and Google,” Mr Hamilton said.

SeaLink is Australia’s largest marine transport and tourism operator, with 118 vessels in its fleet with operations right around the country.
