Coral Sea Marina sponsors Sailability Whitsunday

Must read

SAILABILITY Whitsunday provides one of its marina vessels regularly each fortnight, to the organisation for use as their ‘Observer Boat’.

“This vessel offers a ride on a motorised boat for the disabled people attending Sailability Whitsunday, who don’t wish to sail,” Sailability Whitsunday president Tony Mahood said.

Head of marketing at Coral Sea Marina Joscelyn O’Keefe said Sailability Whitsunday’s work was ‘tireless’

“The tireless work the volunteers at Sailability do, is an incredible service for our community, and we are pleased to be able to help in any way we can,” she said.

“I had the pleasure of attending the 2022 Sailability Whitsunday Christmas party last week.

“To see the joy on so many faces, as the clients and carers ventured out on to the water, was wonderful.”

Sailablity Whitsunday would like to thank Coral Sea Marina as a major contributor, and also thank the Whitsunday Sailing Club for its support, throughout 2022.

“Sailability Whitsunday can only operate with the effort of its great team of volunteers, and we look forward to offering our services to local disabled and disadvantaged clients in 2023,” Mr Mahood said.
